Purchasing Specialist

Zakład Rolniczo-Przemysłowy "FARMUTIL HS" S.A. deals with the collection, transport and disposal of animal by-products and dead farm animals. We are a leader in this field and have treatment plants that are among the largest and most modern in Europe.
As the company develops, we are looking for candidates for the position of: Purchasing Specialist.

Responsibilities:• Managing the process of purchasing goods and services for production, technical, transport and administration departments as part of current operations and ongoing investment projects;
• Verification of needs and approval of expenses, price control of suppliers' offers, search for and implementation of savings;
• Negotiating prices and terms of cooperation with suppliers, monitoring the market and managing the supplier portfolio;
• Verification and audit of suppliers;
• Cooperation with operational departments in order to implement the Company's purchasing policy;
• Analysis of expenses of operating departments, creating forecasts and calculations, participation in the purchase budgeting process, monitoring the implementation of budgets;
• Searching for innovations that reduce the costs of purchasing goods and energy/fuel costs;
• Creating analyzes for the Purchasing Department and the Company's Management Board, reporting to the Purchasing Director.

Requirements:• Experience in working in a similar position in the production or transport sector - minimum 3 years;
• Higher education - technical preferred;
• Knowledge of the supplier market for the production (machine construction) or transport (TRUCK/automotive spare parts) sector;
• Experience in working with ERP, DMS systems, knowledge of Excel;
• Knowledge of English at a level enabling efficient communication with suppliers;
• Experience in conducting negotiations and building effective cooperation with suppliers;
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic work environment;
• Analytical skills, accuracy, ability to work with numbers and data;
• Assertiveness and consistency in pursuing the goals and tasks set.
